Small People
Some people are small. And I'm learning to accept that. It saddens me that we can destroy relationships in a few seconds by commenting on LJ or forgetting a birthday. It's even worse when the relationship lasted through high school and/or college. I'm usually the person avoiding people in public but not people I would call friends. Is everyone bad at it? I like to think I'm pretty good. But when you see someone trying to avoid you that you didn't know had bad blood towards you, it kinda makes you think... maybe I'm a bigger asshole than I thought.
In honesty, I don't miss people. I like having all the friend I have now. Oh man, that's always funny. I think part of growing up is learning to roll with the punches or you have to adapt and learn to head butt people in the chest. One of the things we have to learn is that some people hold grudges and bad blood when there is no reason to do so. I'm learning that and I've accepted it.
