i would like to thank tiff, les, ryan, araceli, and sona for taking time out to call me on my birthday as well as anyone else who has given their well wishes. :)
les gave me MARS&VENUS tapes-- they will for sure help me out a lot. and i got a beautiful seafoam green CD case from tiff in which i will put all the CDs i get from Interscope-- which is great because each time i work there, it's like my birthday! wednesday, i got the cure cd/special edition DVD and the Marilyn Manson "best of"; fantastic art direction. i sorted through all of the new publicity photos gwen stefani is putting out for her solo album AND i handed in some invoices...$4,500 for a makeup session in London? intense.
i guess the whole "after breakup" situation with me and cary isn't going as well as we had discussed..? from the looks of things, it seems that he no longer wants to talk to me. just a week ago, things were fine. well, he knows how i feel and knows where to find me if he wants to. at least i tried.
i guess to compensate for my loss, i've been getting to meet lots of new people lately. for example, Jackie. she's one of the voice over agents. she tells me stories of when she used to watch the Clash, Stray Cats, Dead Kennedys, GBH, the English Beat (uhm, the Beat), the Specials and the Circle Jerks back in the day. The guys that own the Roxy, Whiskey and Rainbow room are her pals. she's so fun-- she says i remind her of Anabella Luwin of Bow Wow Wow. hehe. i look forward to having more chats-- it's definately gonna broaden my horizons.
mark gonazales had a very satisfying dinner over at his and brice's lovely apt. for my birthday. roasted chicken, mac and cheese- shells!, and some very naughty muffins.

today was my last day for class at UCLA. finally. Kinko's was interesting too.
