*leaves Fingolfin with Gimilkhad*

Well. That wasn't too bad.

Do you think we should fromally advise him that if we will countersue him for slander?

No, I'm not going to do his counsel's job for him. They should be aware of the risk if he's going to make defamatory remarks on the public record.

Well. Naturally if we go forward with slander charges your fees will rise substantially in proportion with how much we can milk the bastard for.

There are higher authorities than him in Aman. If he wants to be difficult, let him. He'll only dig a deeper whole for himself.

I'm pretty certain it's impossible for him to be anything but difficult. He's got a little problem about admitting defeat.

You might want to look into getting an interdict then. I'll draw it up now in case you need it.

Yes... he is tricky enough that it probably pays to cover as many possible results as we can.

Especially when he has a history of arson.

Yes. And he did own up to it. That particular act has him scuppered on so many fronts. Custody to someone who burnt his own son's house down? Hah!

Quite. I highly doubt there's a judge in the land who would award him custody...but then your land is pretty insane so we shouldn't get too complacent.

Ye-esss... there is that. Still. He's perceived as fairly deranged even by our standards.
