*enters and stares at you in surprise*

Good lord, girl, whatever are you doing with that thing?

*shuts it off*

*gestures to a large, twisty metal shape on the workbench in front of her*

Sculpting...art?

*snickers as an appendage falls to the floor with a loud clang*

*raises an eyebrow*

You've definitely been spending far too much time around the Feanorians if you're taking up metal crafting. ;)

Oh, I'm no good at it. Just trying to keep busy, really.

*heads into the kitchen to wash the grime off her hands*

So...come on in. Oh, you're in already.

*puts the kettle on*

You feeling okay? You look a little...chartreuse.

Hmm? Me? Oh. I'm fine. Just... late night is all. WITH my husband, before you inquire. ;)

Ah. I see. Bugger.

*hands you a cup of tea and leads you into the living room*

I take it he hasn't found out, then. WHEW.

*sits on the edge of the couch so as not to get it completely filthy*

No...

Although Feanor seems to know something judging by the comments he was making to Fingolfin at the pub. :S

Fëanor knows? I guess...Morno found out from Daemion. He better not have found out from Turco, anyway.

*makes a mental note to tell Aredhel not to bother with Morno*

I'm guessing so at least. He kept dropping sinister hints. But then this is Feanor we're talking about and he's been through a lot recently so he COULD just be making stuff up to wind up Fingolfin to cheer himself up.

...

You do realize that Fëanor's not likely to carry this secret with him to his next gra...er...pile of ashes, right? Fingolfin's going to find out eventually.

Well... if that happens, I guess I'd better start looking for the prenuptual agreement documents now and destroy them.

*sips her tea and grimaces as a pang of queasiness grips her momentarily*

Normally I'd say that hearing it from you would still be better than finding out through the grapevine, but...I'm not sure that'd make a difference in this case. :S

I suppose you could always just deny it. But then you never were a very good liar despite being married to the guy who wrote the book.

*sighs*

Well. The worst he'll do is scream and try to do his utmost to leave me penniless.

*tries to keep the cheer out of her voice*

And possibly commit murder and/or die in the process.

I somehow doubt it'll come to that.

*feels her stomach churn more violently*
