(no subject)
this has been a RIDICULOUSLY long weekend. instead of a three day weekend, i made it a four day weekend. i don't feel like i should go to work tomorrow, but i know i have to. it's really sad. friday i worked at a different bank branch and the people there were AMAZING and there was a Christian woman working in my cubicle. i had some very philosophical conversation with one woman about worldview and travel. i actually worked an 8 1/2 hour day instead of running out after 7 1/2 hours.
this weekend i've gone to the beach or out on the boat every day. saturday morning was an attempted surf trip down by stump pass. man, lindsey and i need lessons REAL bad. we're going to try and go down to ft lauderdale soon for free lessons. later that night i went to church and it was pretty sweet. sunday i went out on the boat and stump pass was RIDICULOUSLY busy... i've never seen it like that before. later that night i got dressed in some patriotic clothes to drink some bad sangria and watch fireworks with some old highschool friends that i haven't seen in FOREVER. another one is engaged, go figure. we went back to one of the girl's houses and reminisced about highschool and old friends... it was a little strange, but fun. the next day i went out to the beach with friends and then headed up to tampa with kathy to her friend eric's house. his house is RIGHT on tampa bay. you could see 270 degrees of fireworks from his back porch. all the fireworks i've seen in my life combined don't add up to what i saw last night. i really felt like it was 1776 and i was being bombed. ok, so now i'm home (i emailed my boss saying i wasn't going in) and i need to catch up on micro work that i've been slackin on. after the weekend of fun i need to focus for the rest of the week!
