Illinois seems to agree with me. I'm working as a vet tech again, which actually pays better than lab assistant positions out here.
More importantly, though, is that I'm riding again. One of my coworkers had a horse available for lease, so I decided to take her up on it. Today was my second day out and I'm already feeling much more confident in my seat. Now I just need to buy boots, helmet and chaps. Oh, and get my saddle from my parents.
My tomatoes are starting to ripen. The couple I've eaten so far have been very tasty, and I can't wait for the main crop to ripen.
Finally, the Urbana Farmer's Market rocks. It's huge, cheap and rain or shine. There are multiple meat venders, bakeries, etc. so we can get more than just our weekly fruits and veggies.
