Mid June update

So far June has proven to be an excellent start to the summer season. The first 2 weekends were very busy. I celebrated my birthday weekend with some good friends at Del Valle reservoir; camping, relaxing, and lounging in floaty-things were the overall theme. We had to drive through Livermore to get there; so pretty! I could definitely live out there - valley heat, farmland, seclusion, but close to bigger cities, friends and family. Plus, there's LOTS of wineries. Maybe that's where we'll eventually end up buying a house and settling down, who knows.
Last weekend Aaron and I drove down to San Luis Obispo with my family to attend my brother's graduation from Cal Poly. That guy amazes me. I've got to brag about him a little bit - he received his Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering, Magna cum Laude (over 3.75 GPA) concurrently with his Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering, Suma cum Laude (4.0 GPA).
Plus, he's already accepted a position at Lockheed designing and researching with their satellite program. It's just amazing to me; I very proud of him. And guess what ladies, he's single! Hahaha...
Anyhoo, the next couple weekends we'll actually be in town before we go on the next camping trip!
