The Hovel in the Grovel
I've got a crazy busy weekend coming up! Yay for the first camping trip of the year!!!
So Thursday after work, we've got to get the car loaded up and take Bacardi to my parents' for the weekend. Then we're heading to Reno for the night. Luckily we have a complimentary room at the Peppermill so we'll be able to enjoy some giant (and free!) Maitai's at the fireside lounge after the grueling drive up. Friday morning we'll meet up with the rest of the camping group for some breakfast before driving the 3+ hours to the private, secluded land in eastern california where we're camping. It's the East Bay Rats annual camping trip called "The Hovel in the Grovel." Should be a weekend of drinking, guns, bonfires, explosions, motorcycles, and all out debauchery. There are no bathrooms, nor running water...just a large piece of land with a dried up stream-bed and some weeds. I've been warned that it gets VERY dusty and dirty. Yeeeehaaawwww, let's go! Last year some guy shot a finger off. Haha. Hopefully Aaron and I will come back with all our body parts intact. Wish us luck!
