-LOL OMG YOU GUYS A VAMPIRE THAT EATS OTHER VAMPIRES:
I DIED FOR REAL @ "I DON'T EAT LIVING THINGS" / "THEN WHAT DO YOU EAT" BECAUSE NO OMFG THEY WOULDN'T GO THERE AND THEN THEY DID GO THERE.
-This episode was the lulziest thing that I have seen in a long time. A VAMPIRE VAMPIRE HUNTER WHO EATS VAMPIRES (!) lol forever. Also I died @ Tyler being ~sired~ and wanting to please Klaus his master. Legit great.
-I refuse to believe that Katherine is dead because a) they totally would have made it clear to us if she was in some tear-jerking fashion because that is this show's greatest strength; b) SHE IS JUST TOO PRETTY TO DIE I REFUSE TO CONTEMPLATE LIFE WITHOUT QUEEN K. (Also how gorgeous did Nina look this episode? Ugh, so gorgeous, I almost couldn't look directly at Katherine during some of her scenes.)

-Stefan was such a dick this week, I am actually unsure how to handle it?? Like I just spent the majority of the episode wanting to punch him in the face which is not a reaction Stefan has ever inspired in me before so kudos to you Paul Wesley I guess. UGH IT'S LIKE S2 OF BUFFY ALL OVER AGAIN. :| Anyway there did seem to be a line between Stefan/not!Stefan/ripper!Stefan/old!Stefan and exploring where that line blurs moving forward will probably be more interesting to me than watching Stefan swagger around smirking a lot... which mostly just made me feel uncomfortable and kind of sad. STOP MAKING ME FEEL EMOTIONS LIKE THIS, SHOW, I JUST WANT TO LOL @ YOUR VAMPIRE VAMPIRE HUNTER WHO EATS VAMPIRES. :|
Also NOTE TO SHOW, must we always resort to scantily clad women having blood orgies when we want to demonstrate that a vampire = evil? I mean, Stefan's evilness came across pretty loud and clear in the episode, we did not also need the game of twister. I got the message, thanks.
-ELENA WAS SUCH A FIERCE BAMF IN THIS EPISODE. GET IT, GIRL. TBH I feel like I have been waiting for two seasons for Elena to decide that she needs to rely less on the Salvatores for protection and more on herself so YESSS FINALLY.
THIS WAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE:
SO DELIGHTED THAT SOMEONE GOT TO STAB STEFAN AND THAT IT GOT TO BE ELENA.
-Damon seemed inappropriately handsy to me in that scene where he finds Elena bench-pressing? lol I know, foreveralone.gif, I am sure all the fangirls were delighted at the ~tension. Mostly I spent the whole episode going ELENA NEEDS TO GET AWAY FROM ALL THE SALVATORES WHO ARE UP IN HER PERSONAL SPACE RIGHT NOW. STAKE THEM ALL. ESPECIALLY STAKE STEFAN AGAIN BECAUSE IT WAS GREAT. Also I know that Damon seems like the slightly less psychotic choice right now but Elena is so broken and damaged and vulnerable and so throwing in this weird high school jealousy plot with D/E made me go O_o. But okay, fine.
-Caroline = STILL THE MOST FLAWLESS RESIDENT IN THE WHOLE TOWN TBH. Her trying to school Tyler in being a vampire warmed my heart. She is trying to be his Yoda like Stefan was her Yoda!! And not doing very well but that is okay sex doesn't always cure everything! Seriously, though, I loved the callback to Tyler's inglorious start ("I hated that guy" OH TYLER) but yeah, Klaus being his hybrid master is so hilariously lulzy. Taking bets now: Tyler is not going to survive until the end of this season.
-I love Elena's growing relationship with Alaric. He is teaching her how to fight vampires! \o/ And protecting her from Stefan Salvatore shaped bullies in the hallways! \o/ And making dad frowny faces at Damon! \o/
-Matt almost didn't bore me this week! And I might have felt a tinge of sympathy for him and Vicky! Unexpected but not even I am made of that much stone.
-Anna and Vicki wear so much makeup for being dead. They must have very good stylists in the underworld. Maybe the Original Witch did Vickie's hair while they constructed their deal? idk.
-I see that we will clearly be spending much more time at school this year... but not actually doing much in the way of mathematics? I already sense a homecoming episode in our future *SIGH*. Okay, and so far we know that the school has a pool, a gymnasium, and a football field but we have yet to see any evidence of a library. (Also the tax base in this town must be shrinking fast due to the high death rate, so who is paying for this school? #irrelevant questions I sometimes have).
-Rebecca is so hilarious. I love her more every week. She stabbed Damon! All the Salvatores got stabbed by fierce ladies this week!! \o/
-So the ghost of Mason is back? LOL OOPS I'm going to guess that Bonnie's spell to restore the balance went a little wrong. DOES THIS MEAN I CAN HAVE THE LOVE OF MY LIFE AKA LEXI BACK NEXT WEEK? I HOPE IT DOES.
