I. HABS SEASON OPENER, FUCK YEAH:

The nice thing about this point in the season means that the Habs are going into this game without a single loss. I CAN JUST BE FULL OF HOPE AND OPTIMISM rather than crushing despair and grief which I'm sure will inevitably hit me around December sometime. But anyway.
II. Ontario is having an election today and while usually politics is like... pornography for me, this has been the most boring election I have ever witnessed in my life. OH MY GOD SO BORING. I mean I read the news every day?? But I still don't even know what any of the parties stand for ngl. ANYWAY I am still unsure if I'm going to vote Liberal or NDP. I am not really sure what the NDP platform is but their leader is a woman? So that's nice I guess? But there is nothing particularly objectionable about the Liberals getting a third term. SO I DUNNO. I MIGHT NOT EVEN MAKE UP MY MIND UNTIL I'M IN THE VOTING BOOTH. Ooh.
III. Okay, so you know how Paul Wesley is the best member of the TVD cast? Um yes this is indisputable fact. But in case it was ever in doubt, this exists:
I always joked: what if we just opened up Season 3 with Klaus and Stefan living in an apartment, and Stefan was messy, and Klaus was like, "Stefan! Use a coaster!" And Stefan was like, "Oh, Klaus!" And they were like the Odd Couple, and he was like, "Stop your snoring!" I'd be a fan of that.
