I know that I have enough reservations about S3 to fill a book but I JUST REALLY MISS EVERYONE in that way that you miss all your favourite characters from a show that you love. I JUST WANT TO SPEND TIME WITH THEM AGAIN. EVEN DAMON. Okay maybe not Damon. Maybe a little bit Damon? I don't know, I just want it to be September 15 right now. Come back to me, show.
Also a few recs:
-I came across a great essay today on Stefan that hit all my favourite points: Stefan is not boring, unless boring means awesome. THE AUTHOR POINTED OUT THAT STEFAN IS THE BEST BOYFRIEND. BUT ALSO SECRETLY CRAZY. Yesss, tell me more.
-Fic: suddenly the world looks back by summerstorm, Stefan/Elena NC-17. Fake breakup sex during the fake breakup aka THE WORLD'S BEST ARC EVER. So great. More people need to write me fic set during the fake breakup humph.
-This is a bit late but needs to be reced anyway: ever_neutral's Elena Gilbert Manifesto on het_reccers. Flawless tbh.
Lastly, unrelated to TVD, but I've caught up on this season of True Blood and I'm actually kind of liking it for the first time ever? Maybe it's all about tailoring my expectations. Or maybe it's the lack of Bill/Sookie. IDK EITHER ONE. Also it helps that I fast-forward through all the plotlines that bore me. Which is a lot of them tbh.
