Torchwood 4x05
I FEEL LIKE I WILL NEVER BE HAPPY AGAIN. :|
I haven't been posting much about Torchwood because my feelings on the last few episodes have mostly been "this is pretty good" and "Gwen is a bamf" and a little bit "lol Jack" BUT OMFG THIS EPISODE, WAY TO BRING IT. About halfway through I twigged to the fact that they took the Category 1 people off to get burned to death so the last five minutes were just like OMG SOMEONE DO SOMETHING VERA IS ABOUT TO BE BURNED ALIVE TO...... KEEP BEING ALIVE.... I CANNOT :| and then Rex was there TRAPPED ON THE OTHER SIDE OF A WALL OF COURSE.

-The end was very dramatic and action packed and everything, but I'm kind of bummed it was Vera since, other than Gwen, she was probably my favourite. Plus she and Esther had some cute scenes and I momentarily got excited over the idea of seeing them interact more with each other (because tbh as interesting and different as all the women have been in Miracle Day most of their interactions have been with men) AND NOW THAT IS GONE.
-LOL JACK, YOUR PLAN WAS THE WORST. So everyone else goes out to investigate the government's new concentration camps, but Jack decides that he has this ~connection with a child molester and so goes to reason with Oswald instead? JACK, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU. WHAT WENT ON IN YOUR HEAD WHEN YOU CAME UP WITH THIS PLAN. REMEMBER THAT TIME YOU FED CHILDREN TO ALIENS. Jack's decision-making is the worst.
-That nursing outfit is not a flattering look on Gwen. My girl continues to be so fierce, though. <3
-GOSH, RTD, TELL ME YOUR REAL FEELINGS ON HUMANITY. I kind of love his dystopian view of humanity, though? We live in dark times and there is no god and the human race as a whole would react exactly that badly to something like this etc. etc.
-Okay, at some point there are going to be aliens, right?
