Yeah, all the little girl/Amy's daughter stuff is obviously going to pan out later... I'm still waiting to meet the Doctor's daughter from the season 4.
I did like the way that he dealt with The Silence.
And yes, the River/11 thing is frustrating, but I like it as messed up seems to be his style.
-What were Rory and Amy doing at the beginning though? Were they still on their honeymoon? Or were they back home and only travelling with the Doctor part-time? I WAS SO CONFUSED BY THAT. I think they were just be newlywed and domestic and cute together while the Doctor was off traveling.
But with the time gaps and the total lack of exposition and the frankly bizarre scene cuts, I was just SO confused and unable to follow along with like 75 percent of it which meant that about halfway through I was mostly just bored. lol. Moffat was so impressed by how stylish his writing was that he forgot to make sure that it was actual easy to follow. Unnecessarily confusing and complicated writing FTL.
I think Eleven/River is beautifully tragic. I understand that it seems lopsided all the time, but I kind of like the fact that they both seem to be able to work around that. I like that we're getting a bit of River's perspective on the whole thing, because seeing her heartbreak really makes you feel for her a lot more. I'm excited that it means more sexytimes for them in the future, though! ;)
DNW the Amy/Rory/Eleven triangle, mostly because I hate seeing Rory's sadface. HE LOVES AMY AND JUST WANTS HER TO LOVE HIM BACK! D:
ITA about needing a breather. I like the timey-wimey stuff a lot, but it's definitely nice to get a few, non-confusing stories once in a while.

RORY WAS CUTE IN HIS 60S OUTFIT, THOUGH. That is the only thing keeping me positive atm.
