Sometimes I am like "Stefan, how do you exist" and then I'm like "OH RIGHT, HE DOES NOT D:"BABE. He does exist... as Paul Wesley. Did you see his Eyecon Q&A session video? Someone asked him how he prepares for his emotional scenes (referring to that Stefan/Elena break-up, I think), and he was all, "I'm losing the woman I've been living for all my life! How can I NOT emote?", and I was THISCLOSE to losing it. I've come to the conclusion that 99% of Stefan's perfection must be credited to Paul Wesley, because he takes this shit seriously. He also said a lot about how he convinced the writers to loosen Stefan up a bit so he wasn't so broody and angsty all the time, so pretty much everything I like about Stefan came from Paul's head, and that's THE BEST THING EVERRRRR ( ... )

I HAVE NOT SEEN THIS BUT CLEARLY I MUST TRACK IT DOWN IMMEDIATELY.

Julie Plec tweeted recently that they'd only touched the tip of the iceberg with that relationship and that hopefully, there will be a lot more to come. I swear, there was legit flailing on my part when I read that.

That would be AWESOME. I am content to go along for the three or four episodes where they have NO INTERACTION AT ALL if it means getting things like Daddy Issues, but maor interaction would obviously be better. CAN THEY NOT JUST HAVE A SLUMBER PARTY TOGETHER AND PAINT EACH OTHER'S NAILS. GOD.

I know Candice has said a lot about how she loves it and how she loves even more that it's this perfectly platonic relationship for Caroline with a boy and how that couldn't have ( ... )

ASK AND YE SHALL RECEIVE. Watch the whole thing... Paul is completely and totally adorable.

I know what you mean. I've loved what we've gotten so far, but I'm still waiting for something on the level of that bathroom scene in "Brave New World". I want something in which they discuss vampirism, a serious talk about their futures, relationship stuff (a la "Bad Moon Rising", but MORE)... just SOMETHING. Of course, this should be balanced by an equal amount of fluffy stuff, maybe every two episodes or so. Because that's important, too! (Basically, I want them to have scenes together ALL THE TIME. I can't get enough.)

I HAVE BEEN THINKING THIS TOO. I was so proud to read that Candice gets it, so in the absence of words from Paul Wesley, I will assume that he gets it too. I'm sure he ( ... )

\o/ STARS IN MY EYES. PAUL WESLEY, SO CONSISTENTLY GREAT.

YES. I'd watch any kind of scene between Caroline and Stefan. I WOULD WATCH THEM WATCH TV.

I used to ship Caroline/Stefan way back in S1, when they had, like, TWO scenes together, and I think I'm just feeling residual love from that. I love, love, love their relationship now (THAT WHOLE CIRCLE OF PARENTING THING IS BEEEYOOTIFUL), but everytime I see them together, I'm reminded of how pretty they are, and what beautiful babies they would make together, and all platonic thoughts are shot to hell.LOL LOL. It is okay, I like you a lot, so I will try not to judge. :p I think I'd be okay with Caroline/Stefan happening in the far future where it's not really about getting ( ... )

OH, NOOOOO. I'm definitely not one of those people who ships Stefan/Caroline because it helps further Elena/Damon. You know where I stand on that! Whatever happens between Stefan and Caroline, I want it to happen because of something that affects both characters personally, and not just to move the story forward.

But maybe in like 200 years or something.

LOL, nice to know you're not completely inflexible on this issue or anything! ;)

also think the power balance in Caroline/Stefan is a little uneven since he's acted in a parental/mentor role for her all season. She needs some time to be a vampire on her own without his guidance because I would be more comfortable with the idea of them turning romantic.I get what you mean. They're already headed in that direction, I feel. He's definitely been more friend than ( ... )
