Left-wingers Michael Cammalleri and Max Pacioretty won't be in the Canadiens' lineup tomorrow night when they face the Senators in Ottawa.
And it's highly unlikely that centre Jeff Halpern will answer the call.
The only question is how long each of these players will be out of action.
All three were injured in the first period of Tuesday's 2-1 overtime loss in Buffalo. The Canadiens took the day off yesterday and the official word was that any speculation about the nature of the injuries was just that -speculation.
CAMMY DDDD:
It's like a Greek tragedy omfg, HALF THIS TEAM IS INJURED INCLUDING MY FAVOURITE. The only bright spot is that the team... responds well to adversity? And Carey Price seems to be really hot again and Ottawa has shit goaltending?? IDK I remain nervous and worried. Like an overprotective mother bear. CAMMY I CAN COME FEED AND TAKE CARE OF YOU IF YOU NEED IT.
II. So my aunt recently got a new cat, right? (I KNOWWWW I CAN'T ESCAPE CATS WHEREVER I GO D:). And her big German Shepherd dog is so traumatized by the cat's mere existence, omg it's so funny. Every time the cat does things like "jump off a chair" or "stealthily open the hallway door," Boomer basically goes AHHHHHHHHHH MUMMY HOOOOOOOOLD ME *TREMBLE* *TREMBLE*. It makes me feel very safe and well protected.
