I am a cooking genius

I'm going to this pot luck tonight, and so I had to cook something. Instead of falling apart in panic, I calmly went out to the store and bought one of those add-eggs-and-water cakes. (Mmm. Marble!)

The instructions seemed laughably easy, however I still managed to:

-Pick too small a mixing bowl. TWICE. The second one didn't slop quite as much as the first one, though.

-Break my wire whisk.

-Splatter cake mix up and down my pant leg.

-Do a lot of cleaning up.

Despite these set backs, I conquered the cake admirably and it even looks semi-edible. katthebawd, I hope that you're proud of me.

Also, cake batter? YUMMY. I don't even care that the raw eggs could kill me. Licking the spoon was so worth it.

In more important news: THE MONTREAL CANADIENS TURNED 100 TODAY. XD

Okay, so the team as it exists today kind of sucks, but it's still the oldest, most celebrated team in hockey. I think that the Montreal Canadiens as they were is still the team that all other teams aim to be.
