-I met someone from Manitoba the other day. OMG IT WAS SO GREAT I WAS SO EXCITED. I really thought they were all just a myth, but apparently not.
Omfg, Manitoba. I think I've now met someone from every Canadian province. Okay, maybe not Prince Edward Island, but for some reason Anne of Green Gables is making me think I have. Close enough.
-I decided last week that dragging my computer to and from class is unreasonably painful. My walk to school is just over 2km (1.5 miles), and takes me about 20 minutes when there aren't mountains of snow and ice to plow through. And my laptop gets HEAVY. I think the new one I bought over the summer is even heavier than the old one. DAMN YOU AND YOUR LARGE HARDRIVE SPACE, THE STUFF OF LEGEND.
I decided that the solution to this problem was to buy a netbook. And it's so tiny and LIGHT and cute but mostly LIGHT. :D :D AND THE BEST PART, IT FITS INTO MY PURSE. Amazing.
I have named it Wabi. I'm sure it is overjoyed.
-Also, a poll! I was thinking about S5 of Doctor Who the other day, and how long and drawn out and exceedingly painful David Tennant's exit has been. I still dunno how I'm going to feel S5 time, but I suspect that I'll be less attached to Steven Moffat's version of the show than RTD's. I'd even say that I'm way more attached to RTD than to whoever happens to be playing the Doctor. Though obviously I'm attached to Ten as well. XD
