(no subject)
-I somehow found myself on tvtropes.org for an hour this evening. Talk about an addictive website that doesn't really have any sort of productive purpose to it.
-I have not studied today. Well, maybe for an hour or so this morning, but for me this is VERY VERY UNUSUAL. POSSIBLY I AM BROKEN.
On the other hand, I studied a LOT Friday night, and feel mildly prepared for my last final on Monday. There's a chance I finally understand the mens rea and actus rea requirements of a criminal offence. THIS IS REASSURING. (Also, I hate the Latin. Why is it necessary? Why can't we just say 'having a guilty mind' and 'the fault element?' This is something I will fix when I TAKE OVER THE UNIVERSE one day.)
-I have decided that whenever I come across accusations that Rose fans are wanky, I am going to close my eyes and THINK OF THE LOOMS. I mean, really, fandom? You come up with this elaborate backstory where fully grown Time Lords randomly POP OUT OF LOOMS just to have an explanation for why your main character MUST NOT HAVE SEX UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES and it is all based on some spin-off book that clearly has NO BASIS IN CANON WHATSOEVER. But Rose fans are wanky? Okay, then.
I find this endlessly amusing. Hahaha. Looooooooms.
