Fic Recs
A few people asked for some post-Journey's End fic recs in my last post. Here's a short list. All Doctor/Rose, in one form or another. :D
These Shades of Love by dyrryere. Ten II/Rose. Rated R. LOVE this fic. It’s quite dark at first, but Ten II’s characterization as all lost and confused and desperately in love with Rose is so spot on. The writing style took me a while to get used to, but I ended up really liking it.
Bitter Pill by the_spin. Ten I/Rose, Ten II/Rose. Rated PG. So I have a bit of a fascination with the idea of the Doctor going off the deep-end, and this fic definitely hits that kink.
The First Five Times Part I Part II Part III. by pellnell. WIP. Ten II/Rose. Rated R. Really interesting exploration of how Ten and Rose might deal with starting a new/old relationship post-JE. They’re quite a bit screwed up, but the love between them still shines through. I can’t wait for the next chapter.
Loved by fid_gin. Ten I/Rose, Ten II/Rose. JE AU. Rated PG13. This is probably my preferred ending for JE. Yes, please. :D
Building a New Forever by humansrsuperior. Ten II/Rose. Rated PG13. This one is a bit smooshier than the others, but man, do I like the idea of Ten II and Rose eventually being this happy together.
