Last week I went to a live gig for the first time in a very long while. It was energising! I had forgotten the joy of seeing an artist that you enjoy, singing along, knowing the nuances of the lyrics and music. Feeling a curious oneness with strangers just because they know those same things. Dancing! How wonderful to be near the stage.. moving with a sea of bodies and letting inhibitions go (ok so I don't have that many inhibitions to begin with ;)) It was a curious and wonderful thing.
