I love this whole thing. I still have a silly grin on my face.
With Star Trek Reboot, I'm not sure I really want Jim and Spock to turn into the best of friends. Mostly I would like them to annoy each other and pull stunts like this. :P

I'm sure that Kirk was OBSESSED with Star Wars when he was a kid. (This has nothing at all to do with the fact that my little brother used to be obsessed with Star Wars. Not even a little bit.) :-P
This may sound terrible...but I'm not sure that I care what happens to Kirk and Spock in Reboot. For me I like having a verse I can turn to if I want the characters to be TOTALLY IMMATURE and not feel like I'm being a bad writer. (Of course...now I have Sherlock for that. *snrk*) I felt like the writers of the film left us with AND NOW KIRK AND SPOCK ARE TOTALLY BUDDIES BECAUSE...
STOP ASKING SUCH DIFFICULT QUESTIONS. THIS IS STAR TREK!
But no matter what...well...I think that Jim Kirk Prime was probably a bit of a prankster, but Jim Kirk of AOS is an obnoxious teenage-boy type prankster.
