Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy again [very very spoilery]
I'm reading through John le Carre's novels, and while I haven't gotten to Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy yet, I was in the mood to rewatch the movie.
[ Spoiler that you REALLY shouldn't read if you ever plan to watch this movie.]
When Riki Tarr says to Smiley and Guillam, "You get Irina, and I'm getting out of here. I want a family! I don't want to end up like you lot," I lose it. :-(
Also when Jim and Bill make eye contact right before Jim pulls the trigger!
HOW DID NOT ONE PERSON GET AN OSCAR FOR ACTING IN THAT MOVIE?!?!?! HOW??????????
(EDIT: Because The Artist was up last year, too. I forgot that.)
(Though Tom Hardy still should have been nominated for Supporting Actor)
