Day Four of NaNoWriMo: I decide that I am going to participate, and that I am going to write an original story.
Day Five of NaNoWriMo: I decide that I still have not had enough life experience to write an original story, and I go back to my Sherlockification of VALL [working title - "Fear in Happy Valley." I assume that will make most people puzzled, and a very few in a specific geographical region snerk and/or groan. Like I said, just a working title at the moment.]
And I am totally counting the 2,000ish words I've written already in my word count.
Don't worry, though, NaNoWriMo purists. There's no way I'm going to finish anyway.
