First day of freshman band camp
Okay today was the first day of freshman band camp so I had to go of course but only to do braintrust so we started our band director telling and explianig to the freshman about band camp and then by having our school libraian give a how to study class, and thats when all the real band stuff starts, we started off by stretching and then a quick run, which was follwoed by a full band conversation with one of the bands allumnist whose wife helps with the flagline during the summer, then our band director calls braintrust in to talk to us so we missed the big talk which was just like I'm here to teach the upper classmen how to lead and you freshman how to follow and respect his exact words, but we went in and Mr. Neal (band director)tells us what he wants to see and to not make stuff to complicated, so we stayed in for the rest of the practice wich was like an hour and a half a perfected and re-taught one song to one of the people who wasn't at the meeting on Sunday and showed her the other song we had finished but that was pretty much the day except our band council tells us that we can't be inside for so long even though Mr.Neal said we could but thats okay
