Rubbish

I was rubbish at teaching today. I hadn't prepared the lesson well enough, and the kiddiwinks (okay, they're aged 19-31, but still...) got restless and wondered aloud why there weren't any handouts. I also went through all their CVs and helped them sell themselves a little better to potential employers, so that was a good thing. Perhaps it was a wake-up call. If I'm going to paid for teaching them, I'd better make sure the lessons are prepared. Still enjoying it, but it's harder work than expected.

Meanwhile, I have to write my novel by mid-February and it's going nowhere fast. But instead of writing, I am now going to watch a repeat of House on the Hallmark Channel, because it makes me happy.
