Update to earlier post: On Jay the Talent
I cannot stop writing about him! When I'm old & reading back on all these, I'll remember the days when Jay's brand of music accompanied me thru'out my youth & beyond, just like maybe how my Dad adores Teresa Teng for all the lovely songs...
He was so "tut" in the 1st competition, hardly idol-material. But talent wins you everything, and so what a bloomin' flower he turned into. Why do I get the feeling he's really not all that into dancing, promotional gigs (xuan chuan) and all the works of becoming a recording artiste, but just on producing good music. Nice that he unselfishly bothers to heighten the status & value of others ard him (even makeup artist siah). Heck he's never done any idol dramas (unlike the rest of them) and variety show appearances are slowly coming to zilch.
The mark of a true prodigy =)
