I am so fucking sick of the backspace button taking me back a page without LJ even asking if I want to save this entry as a draft first. God fucking damnit ( Read more... )

I really like my manager, he seems like a cool dude. And like, when I first started working there he kinda talked here and there about maybe getting me into sauteeing. So I mean, I did that a few nights. I didn't think I was terrible and no one seemed to have a problem with me so like, I don't know if for some reason he thought I did bad or if it's just a coincidence.

Also, with us changing stores and dealing with new traffic volumes, I'm still not trying to take it too personally. It's very possible that volume just isn't good enough to justify me being there. Even then though, you've got guys like Lupe who work 50 - 60 hours a week and have another job too, and I'm sure he'd probably like a fucking day off every once in awhile. He isn't hurting for money.

Just don't put me on Saturdays or let me build up to it and it will be fine. It's not fucking rocket science, you stick shit in the fryer, a microwave, or a toaster oven thing and make sure it stays in there for a certain amount of time.

It just seems like this happens at every job and I don't get it. Walgreens was like that, dunno if you remember that time period. I was getting like 5 - 10 hours a week with employees being on vacation and shit, cause that fucking manager didn't like me and I don't understand why. PetSmart did too, despite the fact that I'd cover anyone's shift who couldn't come in or whatever. I mean yeah I was late a few times but I made up for it while I was there.

As far as the dude hitting on me, no it wasn't in the car. Haha. It was during the job and it just made it worse cause I really wanted to focus! He would get beat up if I told Chris about it, which I didn't.

Fable 2 is pretty cool. We got the first Fable for the PC awhile back but I only had a short window to play it as shortly after I bought it I ruined Chris's awesome computer and my computer can't play it. I find it very fun, although sometimes overwhelming cause there are SO many things to do, it's not like old school point A to point B games.

We've gotten a plethora of new games recently. We got Fable 2, Assassin's Creed 2, Prey, and Wolfenstein. It's like freaking sensory overload. All I really want though is my stupid Monkeyball to work. :(
