This is the last thing I need:

Bath Ball Water Filter

I think the stress of keeping up with everything that's bad for you is... bad for you. I went through a period where I was really sick all the time, and went a bit crazy looking for everything that could be bad for me. I found out what were the worst things, and let a lot of the other stuff slide a bit.

It's smart to keep an eye on what's going on around you, but being obsessed with everything-that way lies madness.

I totally agree!

I think I do a good job at staying somewhere in the middle. I am aware, and do consume mostly safe stuff (organic when it really matters, etc.).. .but so far have not become a raw organic vegan that lives off the grid, yadda yadda. Not that I haven't considered all those extremes! I guess when I read things like that, they kind of blow my mind. I also get stressed out SO easily. Then I swing with the blow and catch my breath :)

p.s. Also as someone who has tonnes of marketing experience, doesn't the text seem quite pernicious? The whole "should be" thing gets to me. argh.

I just think they know their market pretty well. You know, people who always feel they 'should be' doing more.

They're just pushing them along. There are plenty of guilt-wracked people with paranoia and feelings of inadequacy out there.

You know, people with mothers...
