chuck palahniuk's newest book "PYGMY" releases on the 5th of may. he begins is book tour on that day as well, dates listed
HERE. philly nerds, maryland nerds, and nova nerds be on alert. he will be coming to your cities.
i have a modicum of faith that more dates will be added, and atlanta will be one of them, as he did swing by on his tour for SNUFF. but until this is confirmed/denied, i cannot miss another opportunity to miss out on meeting one of my literary heroes again. that being said, unless enough time is planned for me to adjust to an atlanta meet-and-greet date, i'm coming up to nova for the may 9th tour date at bailey's crossroads.
bonus: any nerds who wants to go with me, there is encouragement to come dressed as the most politically incorrect racially insensitive outfits possible, in line with the UN themes of the new book. i know that i've been keeping up with the reduced-racism in my vernacular/actions this year as part of my new year's resolutions, but a chance to fanboy it up towards
an author who is encouraging it is worth an exception. i will come chinked out to the max if anyone else is willing to come with me dressed as nazis, mammys, slaves, plantation owners, confederates, terrorists, whatever. this has potential to be an epic event.
