yay!
So, jeri is in chicago now and it's boring without her. hope she has a wonderful time and gets to see some rain.. i miss her already!
the guys aren't here.. they are playing over at Brandon's house today.. so it's quiet here.. sometimes a bit too quiet but at least the girls aren't fighting..
oh.. some good news.. my contract negotiations went rather well... i get 40.. count them 40 paid holidays this year.. go me! see.. being a teacher isn't so bad after all.. but i do have to work a few saturdays and stuff.. helping out with board meetings and fund raiser things.. but all in all.. i got a hell of a deal.. i am very pleased..
and my boss told me that i was well worth the money so that fed my ego just a bit.. :).. like it is hard to feed my ego.. but it was nice of her to say.. So, i gues i am a salary person now... i think this is the first time i have ever been salary.. the thought of getting the same amount on my check no matter what is kind of nice.. makes it a lot easier to plan things... so, i guess my degree is paying off.. lol.. who would have ever thought?
So, this weekend i plan on doing nothing.. well, nothing of any real substance.. my classes start on monday and it is going to be a stressful week.... the first week always is because no one really knows what is going on.. we are doing diagnostic placement tests on all the students.. the air conditioning in my room isn't working STILL.. and i have orientation for my own daughters to go to (not to mention finding out when people are at the school to find out when they start.. you'd think someone would be in the office, but nooooooooooo)...
Anyway, i am looking forward to this weekend.. get to hang out with Michael and go see Freddy -vs- Jason.. which everyone has been waiting for.. even get to take supafine out for his birthday.. plus, i gotta figure out what i am going to do for all the birthdays this month.. :)
well.. that is the news for now.. stay tuned.. there will be reruns at both 9 o'clock and 11... tata for now my biznatches!
