"Hey!"
"What!?" She growled turning around. I jumped slightly and upon noticing her face softened and a slight glint appeared in her eye. She raised her eyebrow waiting for me to answer but i was completely speechless, gazing at her. I quickly snapped out of my thoughts realising i was checking out a girl.
"Uhh- I." Great Powers are you serious? "Just wanted to make sure you were ok?" I mentally slapped my face. "What Paige did back there was out of order, I- What I'm trying to say is, I’d like to apologise for her behaviour." She moved closer making me take a step back and continuing until I felt my back against the lockers, I gulped as she put her arm at the side of my head resting on the metal at the back.
"Don't sweat it." She breathed as I was intoxicated by her smell. "Love makes you do terrible things." She turned around and started walking away, Love? What was she going on about?
"Love? What?" She turned back around.
"Paige is in love with you, she has been for years. i didn't think you were that naive to notice." Did she just insult me?
"Now wait i second who do you think you-?"
"I'm Sophie Webster, you're not the only one who was hiding but now I've come out of my shell, maybe it's about time you came out of yours." I watched intently as she descended down the corridor until she was out of sight.
What did she mean by me coming out of my shell? She wasn't going to get away that easily.

It was the end of school and i waited by Sophie's black Clio until she arrived.
"Urm what you doing by my car?" My head snapped up, breaking me out of my little world, my cheeks flushed red. Great.
"Uhh I need to talk to you."
"Ok." She raised her eyebrow.
"What did you mean about me coming out of my shell?"
"Your gay." She stated whilst walking to her car door and opened it.
"Hey! I didn't ask for an insult i just wanted to know what you meant by coming out of my shell." She slapped her forehead and shook her head.
"What the hell did i say now?"
"You really are an airhead." She muttered as she got in her car, i wasn't going to let her go that easily so i jumped in the passenger side. "What are you doing?"
"You think you can say a riddle, insult me and walk away?"
"Well technically i was going to drive but?"
"Oh my god you are so infuriating!"
"Did you just say a word that was more than 7 letters long?"
"Yeah i got another one for you, you're so full of bullshit."
"Well that's productive."
"I've got a whole bunch of them if you want to hear, prick, twat, whore, slu-" I felt a hand around my mouth to stop me.
"I get it." She sighed. "I'm sorry ok? I didn't mean to call you an airhead, you’re actually pretty smart in class but anyways the shell thing was about you coming out of the closet ok?"
"Coming out of the closet? how many things do you want me to come out of?"
"Right I'm just going to take you home now and I'm going to let you figure it out for yourself, sounds like a plan?" I just nodded and put my seatbelt on. She started the engine where you me at six started to blast from the speakers. I turned to look at her surprised. "What?" She asked looking back at the road quickly then back to me.
"I love You Me At Six! I seen them a few months ago."
"Really?"
"Yeah they were so good."
"What about Paramore?"
"Hayley Williams mmm!" The car journey continued with us chatting and laughing, it turned out we had so much in common. I had to know what she meant though, this is going to be a lovely sleepless night for me. As I started to drift off forgetting my troubles I felt my mind remember.
