A very Happy B-day
I had a fun weekend hanging out with friends. I did some errands on Saturday and then met up with Inertia Kitty and was treated to Pho at the Vietnamese restaurant followed with some fun episodes of "Angel."
Sunday I traveled with *IK* to the MD Ren Fest to help Pammie to set up her booth. Saw lots of folks I worked with from previous years. They surprised me with a birthday cake accompanied by a rousing chorus of "Happy Birthday!" Inertia Kitty claims he didn't tip them off, but he said it with that "trying to look innocent and angelic, but really not" look. I didn't quite believe him. Pam gave me a lovely hair tie back for my hair; it is very festive and I can wear during Ren Faire!!
On the way home we rode with the sun roof and the windows open, listening to Queen and pretending the SUV was a convertible. Then we stopped for frozen custard and had a fun time looking around at all the toy trains and model cars in the ice cream parlor. It was a very relaxing, lovely weekend, and an altogether great B-day.
