Working on the cottage

More order has been restored to my humble abode. I found a tiny wicker chest with three drawers at Salvation Army Saturday. It fits nicely in my walk-in closet and I have a new place to store things. Yay!! With the extra storage space, I was then able to rearrange drawers and put items in a more convenient space inside my large dresser.

I also picked up a small computer desk. (I was using a folding card table before.) It definitely takes up less real estate, but I realized when I got home that I can no longer fit my chair under it. The new challenge is to find a small stool that can sit under the desk, when the computer is not in use. Oh, and I got two loads of laundry done before I went to bed.

Yesterday was productive and it inspired me. I got up early and am now ready to get back to work. Today I need to empty more boxes, and figure out what I can get rid of, so that I can fit my Mother's bakers rack into the apartment.

When that is finished, I hope to sew-by-hand the trim on my 14th century-inspired blue gown. The trim was a purchase from the SCA Holiday Faire and I really can't wait to see it on the dress itself.
