Companion pets for the kitty

Tonight after work, I stopped by the pet shop to get some fish for my office. Once I did some quick checking, I realized I will need more desk space before I get any sort of aquarium, bowl or otherwise, for the office.

This did not preclude the purchasing of goldfish though. I have been toying with the idea of getting some sort of companion pet for my kitty. He is older and would probably not take well to another feline. I was thinking about a pet, that might interest him when I am out of the house. I decided to try fish.

Not may dollars later, I left with goldfish and small tank in hand. When I got home I set up the tank. After the fish became acclimated to the water I let them swim free. I got a Gold Bubble Eye which I have already named Goldie. Then there is the Black Moore, who quickly got named Black Bart. I have one other fish who has yet to tell me his name, although I am hopeful I will know in the morning. He is a calico-colored goldfish. More later . . . .
