i went to julian for christmas/christmas eve and it was fun...
even the weird parts about it...
-first things first i drove up to the cabin (aka julian) in my friends dad's f350 with him, his friend and an illegal worker from mexico...on the way we stopped at about 6 places,no exageration and ended at the grocery store where i went marketing for my friends families christmas dinner..weird? just a little bit-i got up there,referring to the cabin around 4 hours after departure
-christmas eve was nice, i got the whole christmasy expirience in and we ate yummy food-my friend and i also played the csi board game and she read me a scratch and sniff christmas book-that night me, my friend, her sister and 2 of her dogs piled in the cal king bed and went to sleep..that was an interesting sleep to say the least
-christmas day morning all of us woke up early, opened presents, took a break to make/eat breakfast and then finished opening gifts...sam and her parents gave me some great things:
from sam i got a watch, a sketch book, oil pastels, earings and a great purple blazer
from her family i got red fuzzy socks and cute pj pants
andd...in my stocking i got really cool candy and whistle that has a pool ball on it..haha
-on christmas day sam and i made and primed canvases to paint and then watched movies with her sister and later on her family...collateral was really good
-christmas eve night we ate another yummy dinner and sam and i began sketching...something about the cabin was inspiring
-this morning i had breakfast and then sam and i sketched until we left
