this storm is crazy, i have never seen houston quite like this. its like a ghost town, a large percentage of homes and businesses are either boarded or taped up. amongst those who stayed there is this tangible feeling of fear and excitement. all my neighbors and my family are outside right now having a rita party, haha some of them are DRUNKKK. i love that neighborly interaction, it makes everything feel so small towny. everyone is just antsy and ready for her to hit, shes taken forever, she better not disappoint. ive had a little bit of a margarita. haha adam, i told my mother of your story and she thought it was hilarious. i hope everyone is safe and happy, this whole experience is one to take with us and tell the grandkids. hope everyone has a good time and makes the most of it. everything will be fine and i love you all.
