I am getting a puppy! Yes, Yes, I KNOW we already have enough animals in this house. BUT, I have always wanted a Corgi. This has been my dream. And on Saturday, she is coming home!
I had no idea how hard corgis are to find. When I started looking I couldn't find anything. It didn't have to be pure-bred, but even so, I couldn't even find a mix around here. Then I stumbled upon a corgi breeder out in Montevideo. I was going to go out there on Sunday to look at a puppy until I found out from baldysky that there were corgi puppies in Duluth! (even better!) So I called this morning and they had ONE left from a litter of eight. (And it's not really a breeder, but they have 4 Corgis on this farm and had puppies.) And it was a girl. I wanted a girl. She is the most adorable thing ever! I am going up on Saturday to pick her up! I can't wait....
Now all my time is filled with reading about puppies! (I have never had a puppy before) I am also reading just in general about Corgis. I hope Dashiell will be a good brother and the cats will be okay with her too. She is only 13 weeks old and still pretty little.
