Random, Underworld, etc.
Right - I am determined to post with something approaching regularity here! This is a bit of a problem given that I only ever seem to have about two minutes before I have to leave work, or dance, or tutor, etc. Arrgh, craziness! Oh well; I'll live. Not much new here - having fun with my dancing and being driven mad by work, as usual. I'm looking into a variety of archaeological digs that I might participate in when I get to Spain before I start my ESL work.
Went to see Underworld with my friend Geoff (AKA my movie buddy - he's the only one around here who enjoys this stuff as much as I do!). It was *ridiculously* packed! Seriously nuts. But I enjoyed the crap out of it; shirtless werewolves FTW! Lucian put a shirt on at one point, which disappointed me greatly, but fortunately it ripped off about three scenes later. Seriously. Fantastic. XD So, I recommend that heartily, for the sake of werewolf chest alone (I found the movie in general pretty fun. Plenty of fighting and stabbing and even some exploding and fires; these are the things I ask for in an action movie.) Good lord, this is a pointless post. I would give a more in-depth review of the movie, but I'm afraid I saw it about a week ago and now I really can't remember much beyond the fact that there was plenty of shirtlessness and fighting, and I enjoyed it. So! That either means that you'll enjoy it, too, or that your estimation of my taste will go down significantly.
(I did also finally see most of O Lucky Man!, the Malcolm McDowell film from 1973, and my Dad's favourite film ever - it was bizarre, and fantastic, and completely wonderful. I seriously recommend it, though given how much my Mum loathed it I know it won't be to everyone's taste. ;p)
