The faces of the people tell the horror of what happened. The people of Ischia are in my prayers, the dead, the survivors, the injured. It is so hard for me to sit here an see these pictures from half way across the world and know that I can only pray.

I am glad the Bishop was there for the people. Please keep us updated as to how things are going. I pray there will be no more mud slides and no more injuries to rescuers searching unstable rubble.

For the dead: Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord and may perpetual light shine upon them. Amen.
