So, another Terkey Day has come and gone, and the Butterball company has had another successful season.

At about 1 or so we headed over to the Gee Ma's hawse for a bit of family Thanksgiving festivities. Half the fam wasn't there, but there were enough to create a quite a ruckus concerning poker chips that ended with mine having to empty quite a few of them from the pockets and insides of my Paris Blues. I'm still not exactly sure who was won the bidding, but contrary to John's protests, I was so in the highest basement demand. Even if it is a little illegal.

We then frolicked over the the Auntie's casa post comiendo, where we were amoungst the first to arrive, even though it was tapping on 7 o' clock and twilight had finally settled over the pie scraps.* The rest of the night was sort of chill. We loitered about in the basement for a bit to avoid the masses of heliotrope fumes filtering throughout the upper floor, and played a fine game of darts which basically concluded in the slow loss of probably about half of those that we started with. Then there was Catherine and her pig SHRINE. I will never look at pink farm animals the same way ever again. Too many painted eyes.

Jenni and I then stayed the night at Connie's so as to partake in a bit of Post-Thanksgiving Day shopping with the French family girls. I have decided that there is NOTHING on earth I want that badly. NOTHING. Especially when you have to wake up before dawn has even thought of cracking over the horizon to do so.

Oh yes, Birthday Wishes. :-)

*Happy Belated Birthday to Kristin. Lynn's Paradise Cafe is now pretty much my favorite place to eat EVER. I do believe that Anniendo took a few fine pictures there back in the Better Than Ezra day. It's the place with the mass teacups and such out front. They also apparently have Magic Pants. I wonder if they're like invisibility cloaks in a knicker-like form.

*Happy Birthday tomorrow to Colena, and on Wednesday to Bivina. Have a cake fight, play with helium balloons and just all out have a lovely day turning 17. :-)

Sadly however, I must trundle off and work on a speech duo Jenny and I have procrastinated leikwhoa on and try and get it memorized before Saturday. Oh my sweet wounded Jesus. Pray for us. :-X

I think school is trying to keel us all ded with impressive speed this week.

I think 'God Bless the Procrastinators [insert holy gift here]...' should be added to the Beattitudes. Just a thought.

Tally ho!

*Note: Pumpkin pie tastes really good with strawberry whipped cream. Anyone who tells you different is pretty much trippin'.
