The rest of my long weekend turned out okay
Monday I was feeling much better, though still a bit achey and sleepy. shoes_the_dog came over Monday instead of Sunday, since he had no school, bruuuuuu had to work, and I had not been feeling up to playing with him on Sunday. We (the kidlet, the housemates, and myself) had a leisurely breakfast then went to see Shrek III. I didn't like it nearly as much as the first two, but it was still fun. The first two were subtle, this one was a bit too in-your-face with the messages. Then we got pizza, which was delicious. I'm a bit dissapointed that the locally-owned theater no longer has a coupon for the locally-owned pizza place across the street on the back of every ticket, as that was a big part of why I always go there. (Now they have a different coupon on each ticket stub, they don't all have one at all, and there's no gauruntee the whole party will get the same one. I wonder if it is possible to set up a tradeing website?) When we got home, poly_good_girl got out her new tricycle, I put the new inner tube in my bike, shoes_the_dog climbed in her basket, and we went for a bike ride. Then he sprayed us down with the super soakers he got for his birthday and we all laughed. He read to me for a bit from Frog and Toad. Then he went home and we had dinner and played a new board game (review in a seperate post) with infiniverse. I stayed up until 2:30, so I'm a bit sleepy again, but the game was great fun.
