Knitting and Crotini news!
The next Crotini meeting will be at 7:00pm on Saturday, April 26th at my house. Please come out for some crafting fun, some great conversation, a few martinis (limited to one - because of the whole driving thing). If someone wants to volunteer for this month's baked treat, I'd appreciate it, as I won't have time to throw anything together this month!
Just an FYI - we probably will NOT be holding a meeting in May. Mr. G and I need to make up some time in VA (we haven't been at all this month), so we'll be down May 3rd, 10th and 17th. Then we'll be in Colorado the following weekend, and back to VA on the 31st. Summers may be scarce, so please try to come out on the 26th!! As well, we're not sure of anything scheduled in June as we are waiting on Baby B's arrival. She's due June 2nd, but Mr. G and I are planning on heading down for a weekend once Peanut is here to give the new parents a hand, throw some casseroles in their freezer, and spoil the heck out of the newest grandbaby!
Anyone interested in knitting for charity give me a hollar. I've decided to donate straight to the NICU, but I can't decide which hospital as of yet. I may go with a Delaware hospital so that my DE Eastern Star Chapter can take the charity credit in its own state. If you want to get in on this, I have a couple of patterns for preemie hats and blankies, and they knit up (or crochet up) fast fast fast! Let me know, and we can pool our donations. And remember, any yarn you purchase for this worthy cause is tax deductable as a charity donation!
Gotta run - gotta get back to work. Train gang, if you are reading, I'll be back on the train tomorrow - I've had to bus it for a couple of days!
