Hmmmm....
I haven't felt very, well, posty lately, as evidenced by the lack of anything substantial to read here lately. I have had lots of stuff going on - I just haven't felt like writing about it much. So, here's a brief update about things that have been going on lately.
I finished Baby H's blanket. It's really beautiful, and I'm quite proud of myself. I'll take pictures soon and post them. I'm really hoping to get pictures of Baby H with this blanket too, but of course, that won't be until June. I've moved on to the next blanket, for a girl at work who's due in April. I love working with bold blues, so I'm glad she's having a boy. I got some really nice, cuddley soft yarn in a varigated blue that is bold and bright and I love it. I'm working on a quick pattern, and should be able to get the blanket done before her shower next month. I'll post pictures of that one too.
I got a bunch of jewelry done over the weekend. I made a lot of earrings, but many pairs are meant for gifts, as we have a ton of birthdays coming up. My MIL's birthday is Sunday (she's not getting earrings) and I have to go out at lunch and get her a card so we can get it in the mail. Then, my daughter's birthday is on the 19th. I made her a gorgeous blue set of earrings, and she'll hopefully be down from NY for her actual b-day so I can give them to her. My sister's birthday was this past weekend, but we'll see her this weekend, and she got two pairs of earrings. Plus, I made some to sell. Which reminds me, I really need to get my store up on Etsy.
Our Superbowl party went well over the weekend, although the turn out wasn't as nice as we had originally expected. We still had a great time. And the Giants won. Which normally would make me unhappy, but since they were up against the Pats, I (just this once) routed for them. Way to go, G-men.
In other news, I have to have an MRI on my knee. Looks like I've got torn cartelidge in it. Not good. Will probably mean either surgery, or PT. Although, if I have torn cartelidge, I'm not sure how they'll fix it with PT. We'll see. There's something literally floating around in it. And, he gave me a pain killer. Yay. I haven't had it filled yet, but I know it's supposed to rain, a lot, coming up, and I may get it filled before them just in case.
So, that's about it. That's why I haven't been posting much. Just not much to say. Hopefully some crafty pics will be coming soon. And an obligatory "love" post for v-day next week. Awww.
