Today has brought some of the unexpected.

Absolutely nothing. No celebration, no fireworks, not even some blinking red, white, and blue frosted cupcakes.

And I'll be damned if my parents watching hours of some Revolutionary War series on the History Channel is anything near fucking close to "celebration".

Here I was thinking I was the unpatriotic one in my household. :[

On another note, I have realized that my dreams to find a suitable pet for our household have still not died despite repeated failure at finding one my parents can tolerate, as I'm currently reading up on snakes. Corn snakes, to be precise. :D And I have to say, it's looking plausible now. 8D OH MY GOD, I THINK I MIGHT ACTUALLY GET TO OWN MY OWN PET. MY QUICKLY DIMINISHING CHILDHOOD HAS BEEN GIVEN ANOTHER CHANCE TO BE FULFILLED. SOMEWHAT.

The only downsides are the fact that aside from not killing my proposal on the spot, my mom noted that keeping dead feeder mice in our freezer is nauseating and my dad had to bring up his loathing of those stupid, fucking gophers in our garden yet again in saying that he would like one that eats said destroyers of his precious vegetables.

:|

Problems with this:
  1. The gophers are in the yard, and our garden could not be reasonably modified to also house a snake.
  2. A snake cannot stomach an animal that is bigger around than itself, thus we would need a large snake to eat them, and we most definitely do NOT have the experience needed to handle a snake that large.
  3. Wild animals are ideal breeding grounds for disease and parasites, which could cause serious health problems for a captive-bred snake.
  4. If we get a snake, it is MINE. It is going in MY room, where I want it to be, not out in the garden where it is cold and dirty. >:/

On yet another note, Kakuzu is looking FABULOUS. SRYSLY. I'm almost done with the stitches on his front, and then I'll finish the ones on his right arm that I never got around to finishing. AND THEN I CAN FINALLY GET ON WITH MAKING THEIR BLOODY CLOTHES. Of which I have also started, may I add with a slight air of satisfaction. Problem is, they came out so blinking baggy, I must have redone the seams at least 1.25 inches farther in to make them smaller, and they're still loose on Kakuzu.

...

These were supposed to be made for Hidan, who is even smaller than 'Kuzu is.

...

WTF doll pattern. WTF.

NOW HAVE SOME DORKY DEPECHE MODE THINGS.

LIKE A SIMS 2 READY FOR BUSINESS EXPANSION PACK MUSIC VIDEO OF "SUFFER WELL" WITH THE VOCALS REDONE IN SIMLISH.

YEAH WAY.
