End of an era
Yesterday was the very last day of school I had, my contract is ending on the 31st of may but all of net week is a week off for school. I'm feeling quite down for saying farewell to the colleagues I made friend with, to the students I had during the two years. It was a wonderful experience, allowed me to travel up to Edimburgh last year, to Cardiff this year, to meet people and that also taught me what I absolutely don't want to do as a job, being a teacher.
It's hard not to look back and think of the good times I had, the good laughs I shared and it kinda makes me sad that I have to put all of that behind and move on in life. At least I will keep in touch with a lot of people that I met there and I had a wonderful last day, brought tea and biscuits to the school, as a last farewell gift.
