(no subject)
I am so boring these days. Too much school stuff to get finished, not enough time to have any awesome adventures. I think I have most of my stuff wrapped up though, which is good. Definitely much more relaxing that way. I'm really loving this sunshine-- it's even better because all the Hawaiian students are out playing guitar and ukulele, and people are playing in the volley ball courts and laughing (and, because I am creepy, people laughing is my favorite sound). Not to mention it's sunny and warm! :D I took a ton of pictures around campus yesterday while I was waiting for people to get free from class and such. Life is good, if uneventful. ^^
I did 4 miles today at the gym! I even ran 2 of them! Although I'm still short of my goal, which was to be able to run 4 miles by next school year.
Speaking of next school year, I think I have my schedule straightening out. I've settled on English lit/creative writing major with a photography minor (it's super easy), so I'm taking expository writing (I wish there was a way I could test out of that and take a more interesting writing course), German, Holocaust history, photography, and intro to art history. I am also taking a class for my job at the writing center, but it doesn't really count because it's only 7 weeks and is more of a help session than a class. I'm also taking a class this summer, a philosophy/world religions class. I'm excited for all of it. :D
OMG FIRE ALARM WENT OFF 4:30 IN MORNING TUESDAY. NOT COOL. SO NOT COOL. COULDN'T EVEN FIGURE OUT WHAT ALARM MEANT FOR 5 MINUTES. TOOK OTHER 5 MINUTES TO PUT WARM CLOTHES ON, CUZ NEVER REAL FIRE AND JUST STAND OUT IN COLD. UGH.
I went to a Peace Corps meeting yesterday. It was really interesting... too bad I'll have to fight my mom for the next three years to get her to agree with my going. I would never even dream of doing something that huge without her blessing. SAD FACE.
I'm watching a really fascinating documentary about John Lennon. I'm going to go back to that now. Ciao! ^^
Edit: I am doing ODS from May 20-25. Yay. There was something else I was going to put under this edit but I can't remember what it was.
