'Punch happy Irish Senator' ?

I didn't see that issue of the paper until today when Connie shoved it in my face...literally.

Who'd you have to hit to get that title?

Adam Nagourney, lead politics reporter for the Times. In my defense, it was almost a year ago, he didn't get a concussion and the bastard deserved it.

For the record, I enjoy your freckles.

I know the man. Personally, I can't say I ever liked him, he always got a little to close...

Nose shot, cheek, or chin?

You do? Why they made a remark about them baffles me.

You do? I never knew he Nagourney was interested in the world of zoological medicine.

All of the above.

Could be a form of jealousy centering around the fact that a senator was out with a pretty woman and they weren't.

Yes. He wasn't interested in the zoological medicine, only the politics.

Right. Big fist meets tiny face. Got it.

They used the word freckly. I suppose I should be happy it was the most they could say about me.

So I'm either missing something here or you don't want to share, either way, I'm willing to drop it.

Wait until they start calling you "The Senator's new tart", the only plus side is it'll be a change from "freckly".

Speaking of freckly, I'm sorry I haven't been around a lot the last few weeks.

Nothing I want to share over the internet, that's it.

If they start calling me your "Tart" I'll be the one who'll be punch happy.

I just figured you'd moved to Bermuda and planned on sending postcards annually.

So help me out here, how do you make the words italicized on this thing?

Bermuda? God no, I'd be red as a lobster and ten times as crispy. However, to apologize for my behaviour, I'd be glad to take you out to dinner.

If I tried to explain it to you, your computer would blow itself up in retaliation.

I like lobster. Hint hint, nudge nudge. Actually, how about I cook something? It's cheaper, and my kitchen has been rather lonely for the past few weeks.

Ooh.

You know, I think I'd enjoy that. At least allow me to bring the cheesecake.

Understand?

Good, because I'm a pretty mean cook. Cheesecake sounds good.

It's settled then, what time should I show up?

When are you free?

I could cut out of work anytime, but I suppose the real question is: what day?

David goldentress August 5 2008, 01:41:08 UTC
Good question.

Tuesdays, Thursdays, and the weekends are good for me. Take your choice.

Tomorrow would be ideal.

Tomorrow then. Six o'clock. Don't be late or you're getting cold porridge.
