Thank you Delta
Well I have arrived safely in Tampa. I can't say the same about my bag though.
I got to Baton Rouge Airport early. When I checked my bag it was 55lbs. They told me that I would have to pay $25 because it was over 50lbs. So I pulled some things out making it exactly 50lbs. Then, since I was there early, they offered to put me on an earlier flight to Atlanta. I agreed and left BTR an hour early.
I got to Atlanta and had a nice dinner and was charged $8 to check my email for 5 minutes. I got to my plane in plenty of time. We ended up leaving Atlanta late (big surprise). We get to Tampa and I head down to get my bag, and sure enough it isn't there. And to make it better, Delta has no idea where it is.
Now, let me get this straight. I leave on an earlier flight giving Delta two flights to get it from BTR to ATL (5:42 flight and 6:55 flight) before my flight from ATL to TPA. Not to mention it would have had a 3 hour layover with the earlier flight and an hour and a half with the later one. LSU is going to be really happy. My band uniform is in there (not to mention my every day clothes). Damn you Delta, DAMN YOU!!!
