(no subject)
i'm in barnsley right now! the north is so cold and i forgot/left at home on purpose my coat so i'm wandering around what is essentially the artic with just a shirt a tie and trousers which are so flared they embarrass me and make me want to not stand up at all? but it's okay, i think i'm going for 'embarrasing uncle at wedding in '77' as my look. so, it was david's mother's wedding today which was lovely as expected and quite low key. i mean i've only ever been to ridiculous weddings with tongue in cheek DJs, meringue dresses and finger buffets. we had several courses and a pianist tinkling the ivories throughout. and now, at 7.30 in the PM, i'm back in hoyland, barnsley and about to slip into something a little less comfortable aka tighter but less embarrasing, potentially? still no coat, i'm going to freeze on the trip back to the bluebell inn where the less boring people in david's family/david's mother's new husband's family/ONE UNITED FAMILY NOW will be drinking. i'm going to try and makeout with one married woman, maybe not david's mum, innapropriate? but it's beautiful up here, i forget about the countryside and how yorkshire can really look like emmerdale farm.
