character relationships.
Data's inmate, who he has recently figured out he's way too interested in the recovery of. It's making him question his abilities as a warden, especially after having it pointed out to him that he's not really experienced to handle these sort of people. But he does know he genuinely wants to give him a second chance at life.
Victor Frankenstein | Inmate, Friend, and GIANT DILEMMA
His replacement Geordi and new Watson. She helps explain much about human nature to him. She also keeps him grounded when it seems like everything is falling apart.
Martha Jones | Dress-Up Buddy
A very confusing human and a very good friend. Considers him one of the best, even with their inmates getting into verbal smack fights. He probably has more faith in his abilities than he should.
Harper | Glorious Wrench Monkey
Data is one of the few people on the Barge that doesn't hate Crane. He thinks he's intelligent and capable, and those abilities are being wasted. He was even a little worried about him after finding out some of his bits and bobs fell out while he was a straw man, which surprised him. So he supposes that means he's a near friend.
Dr. Crane | Intelligent but a touch Demented
He considers the Doctor a friend, but also thinks he may have disasterously ruined that friendship. They've not done much talking in a while and he's still frightened of the TARDIS. His inability to deal with the changes is another reason that he questions his wardening abilities. But he's also the person that seems to most understand how his mind works.
The (Fifth) Doctor | Friendy :(
Has a little bit of a crush on her, as she very much reminds him of Tasha. But also knows that long term things are off limits. Mostly, he likes having someone he can work with, and understands his repugnance toward the Borg Queen.
Morgan Adams | Attractive Pirate Lady
He continues to be horrified, repulsed, and fascinated by her. Sometimes he nearly crosses the point where he would willingly help her. Fortunately his friends drag him back over to the right side before he can break, but there is always a lingering danger there.
The Borg Queen | Vile Seductress
One of the most intriguing Vulcans he's ever met short of Spock. He's fascinated by her and her company, but he does notice that she seems to have a hint of emotion that he usually doesn't see in Vulcans. He doesn't know if this is because of her era, or something else, but he does know that he consider's her a friend.
T'Pol | Very Respectable
